Debbie is a National Board Certified, Provisionally
Licensed Professional
Counselor. She is working towards her certification as a
registered play
therapist. Debbie has trained extensively in the use of
expressive
techniques within the therapeutic relationship. She has
facilitated
expressive therapy groups, cancer survivor groups, and
Child Parent
Relationship Training groups.

My primary goal, as a counselor, is to achieve a
therapeutic relationship to
best serve the clients needs. This includes creating a safe
and
non-judgmental atmosphere in which the client feels free to
explore life's
issues. For many the world has failed to impart this
general feeling of
acceptance and respect. Given the safety of an
unconditionally accepting
relationship, one is free to explore the answers locked
within leading to a
greater feeling of happiness and well-being.
Individual, Family, Couples Counseling.........$85 per 50
minute session
Group Counseling...........................$25 per 90
minute session
Sliding scale in cases of financial hardship.
Medicaid is accepted.
If insurance covers mental health counseling, payment is
accepted at the
time of service, and the client is responsible for
submitting a receipt to
the insurance company for imbursement.
