Douglas is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor and a Recognized Associate Substance Abuse Counselor II. He specializes in individual and group counseling with adolescents and adults incorporating an eclectic approach to therapy. He specializes in issues such as depression, anxiety, sexual abuse, addiction, trauma, relationships and issues which affect those with physical and cognitive disabilities as well as their families. In Douglas’ 27 years working in the mental health field, he has worked in a variety of settings which have allowed him to experience multiple approaches to affecting positive change with people. He has worked throughout his career as an advocate for individuals experiencing emotional difficulties and developmental disabilities. He believes each person is deserving of compassion and support essential for positive life experiences.

Individual & Adolescent Counseling………$85 per 50 min.
Group counseling………………………$25 per 90 min.
* I offer a sliding scale for uninsured or under-insured clients.
*If insurance covers mental health counseling, payment is accepted at the time of service, and the client is responsible for submitting a receipt to the insurance company for reimbursement. |
