ABOUT ROBIN :
Robin is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor who is a board eligible National Certified Counselor. Additionally, she is a member of the Missouri Association of Play Therapists in her work with children and has been a volunteer with the Missouri Victim Center and Family Violence Center in Springfield.
Robin works with children, adolescents and adults. Her experience has been with issues related to grief, depression, anxiety and anger, including the problems associated with abuse and neglect. Additionally, Robin assists gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals, partners and families.

GOALS:
At Counseling Solutions, I work from a Person-Centered philosophical and psychological model. This theory believes in the basic value of every individual. It affirms and supports each person’s right to grow and process through their own issues as unique persons.
Many times, persons seeking out counseling are at a stuck place in their lives. They may feel that they have hit bottom or explored all their options. Often people feel confused and are not sure what to do next. They may feel that their life is out-of-balance or out-of-control. My purpose is to listen to your concerns with caring and focus. I may present you with different perspectives and ideas, but ultimately I respect your choices and decisions regarding your life.
FEES:
Individual, Family, Couples Counseling.........$85 per 50 minute session
*If regular fees present a financial hardship, I will and often do work with individuals and families on a sliding scale.
*Medicaid is accepted as payment in full for children ages 6-18.
*If insurance covers mental health counseling, payment is accepted at the time of service, and the client is responsible for submitting a receipt to the insurance company for reimbursement.session
