Angela Grady

INTERN COUNSELOR

Angela Grady is a counseling intern, working towards her final semesters at Missouri State University in pursuit of a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Prior to her time at Counseling Solutions, Angela has provided individual counseling, grief therapy, and trauma-based counseling. Angela was previously a counseling intern at a local not-for-profit that provides counseling and victim advocacy services for those affected by sexual or violent crimes.

Angela earned her B.S. majoring in Criminology and minoring in Psychology and obtained a Forensic Child Psychology Certificate from Missouri State University in 2017. Since graduating with her bachelor’s degree, Angela has worked for the State of Missouri as a Probation and Parole Officer, working with justice involved individuals, including those who are seriously mentally ill. Angela’s self-care consists of being outdoors with her family or reading.

My Approach

My approach to counseling is person-centered, however I incorporate other techniques as well that will help you experience, grow, and learn more about who you are and what you are looking for. My goal is to create a healthy and comfortable environment to unpack past or present trauma, grief, or daily stress. I am an open-minded individual that will keep a judgment-free space for you to explore thoughts and ideas. I have experience working with adolescents and adults of all ages and all backgrounds. I look forward to working with you and being the support system, you might be seeking.

Fees are based on annual household income:

$0.00 to $50,000 = $20 per session
$50,001 - $100,000 = $30 per session
$100,000 and over = $40 per session
