Charlten Henderson is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and certified Professional School Counselor with over five years of experience supporting youth and families across public, private, and alternative educational settings. He holds a master’s degree in Counseling from Missouri State University (2017) and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (2014).
Charlten brings a trauma-informed, relational approach to his work, specializing in adolescent, adult, and couples therapy. As a former high school counselor and instructor in Missouri State University’s graduate counseling program, Charlten has supported clients through academic challenges, identity development, career planning, emotional regulation, and family conflict.
He is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based treatment for trauma, anxiety, and emotional distress. He has a particular passion for serving marginalized populations, including people of color, individuals navigating life transitions, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
