Chris Carver

We all experience times in life where things become overwhelming, and we may respond with frustration, sadness, anxiety, or even a complete loss of hope. I aim to assist clients who are facing these challenges, and help them find a new balance. I believe strongly in the human potential for growth and change, and have been privileged to assist clients who worked hard to make this manifest in their own lives.

I typically counsel clients who struggle with a variety of issues including grief and loss, couples/relationships, depression/anxiety, work-life balance, and many other concerns that make life challenging. I provide a supportive and warm place that allows you to explore your unique problems and challenge yourself to grow.

I am a licensed professional counselor who graduated from Missouri State University in 2010 with a MS in Counseling, and from the University of Arkansas in 2015 with a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. In addition to working with clients, I am an Assistant Professor of Counseling at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma.
