Ethan Koenig

INTERN COUNSELOR

Ethan Koenig is a counseling intern currently working towards his MS in clinical mental health counseling at Missouri State University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2023 from Missouri State University. Ethan has experience working with a wide range of clients of all ages. Ethan’s areas of interest include anxiety, stress, relationships, OCD, and LGBTQ+ issues.

My Approach

I use an integrated approach, primarily utilizing techniques from person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I want to create an open space for individuals to explore their thoughts, beliefs, and emotions without fear of judgment. I want to make them feel understood while giving them tools to help them heal along the way.
