Genevieve Nelson

MS, LPC, NCC

Genevieve (Gen) Nelson is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in grief work. She received both her psychology and counseling degrees from Missouri State University and now serves as adjunct faculty in the MSU’s counseling program. She is a previous member of both the Missouri School Counseling Association (MSCA) and the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) boards of directors. Nelson currently serves as the national on-site trainer for grief and loss for ASCA and offers trainings across the country both virtually and in-person.

Previously, Nelson worked as both a school counselor for nine years and a grief counselor for six years in the group and individual settings at Lost & Found Grief Center. She specializes in grief work (all ages, couples and individuals) and working with teens.

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

$110 per 50-minute session

Group COUNSELING

$35 per person, per session

COUPLES/FAMILY COUNSELING

$125 per 50-minute session
