INTERN COUNSELOR

I am a graduate student in the clinical mental health counseling program at Missouri State University. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology with a certificate in family and juvenile support services. I have always been passionate about helping others and I am excited to be with you in your journey towards healing. I am practicing under the supervision of Brian C. Vega, LPC, NCC.

My Approach

My foundation is grounded in acceptance, understanding, and collaboration. My approach is holistic, looking at the experiences and growth you have had that has led you here. I lean toward reprocessing negative thought-content, self-blame, and finding the connection between mixed thoughts and behaviors to support healing in a complete and balanced way. In terms of the content of our sessions, we will go where you feel you need to go – what feels most authentic to you, no matter how comfortable or uncomfortable that may be. My goal is for you to leave our sessions feeling heard and most importantly empowered to care for yourself in a confident manner.

Fees are based on annual household income:

$0.00 to $50,000 = $20 per session
$50,001 - $100,000 = $30 per session
$100,000 and over = $40 per session
