Kelly Teague is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) and a Certified School Counselor. She has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Child & Family Development from Missouri State University and a master's degree in Counseling from Evangel University.
Since 2011, Kelly has provided mental health services to children, teenagers, and adults in various workplace and academic settings. She provides interpersonal and personal development assistance. She helps clients discover self-acceptance, trauma processing, personal awareness and respect of others, goals, and boundaries to lead to a better quality of life.
Kelly has also been a mentor in Pleasant Hope, Sparta, and the Springfield school districts and participated in several organizations and roles such as the Missouri State University and Evangel Counseling Advisory Board, Leadership School, and A+ Advisory Board; Leadership Springfield, Go Caps, and Upward Bound Liaisons; Coordinator of Student Interventions and Supports; Counselor for English Language Learners; Crisis Team Member; and volunteering at Boys and Girls Club, Lost and Found, Beautiful Lives, and The Least of These.
Kelly focuses her private practice on helping children, teenagers, and young adults, and families. She specializes in trauma, grief, self-concept, depression, anxiety, and academic, and social/emotional difficulties. She supports the LGBTQIA+ community.

I will work with you to identify the most effective methods and strategies to guide you and facilitate cognitive behavioral changes. I will also help you with effective decision-making skills, establishing boundaries, overcoming trauma, and taking responsibility and control of your life.
