Miriam Ayala Seco
MA, LPC
Miriam is a board certified Licensed Professional Counselor. She attained a Masters of Psychology in her home country of Spain before making the journey to the U.S. in 2014 where she completed her counseling coursework at Missouri State University.
Miriam has had contact with diverse cultures and environments, having studied in Spain, lived in Argentina, and completed her internship in Mexico. She specializes in working with adults and couples who want to find their authenticity and explore questions of self, transcendence, inner development and spirituality.

Goals
A lot of us might feel like we have lost the ability to truly feel life. A lot of us feel stuck, living a life that works, there is nothing wrong with it, but it feels empty somehow. A lot of us have detached from ourselves by living on auto pilot. Or we have put others before ourselves, to the point that we don’t know what we need or maybe even who we are anymore. Maybe we are looking to walk our path in life in a way that is true to our heart. Or maybe we are looking for a way to truly connect with others. Sometimes we can’t seem to find where we went wrong, or what is missing. We lost touch with ourselves. The word “self” refers to our inner light, our uniqueness, our truth. It can’t be understood; it must be experienced. When we reconnect with that inner self, we can develop true connection, intuition, creativity, and can begin to know and love ourselves and find our voice in the world.
My ultimate goal is to help you connect with that part of yourself that remains hidden under confusion, anxiety or pain. The therapeutic space I provide is yours; I am just a vehicle for your inner development to flourish. I will participate by using my intuition and my knowledge to help you sort through yourself, in a respectful, non-judgmental, compassionate space where you can safely discover and reconnect with your truth.

$100 per 50-minute session
Couples Counseling
$120 per 50-minute session
Payment is accepted at the time of service.
A sliding fee scale is available to those experiencing financial hardship. Please inquire if you would like more information.
