Teresa Coleman

MS, LPC

Teresa is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), crises management, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), career counseling, and certified in child parent relationship training (CPRT). Teresa has been an instructor in the graduate counseling program at Missouri State University, a school-based clinician and clinical supervisor for clinicians and PLPCs.

As a therapist I have the opportunity to assist people with removing the barriers to achieving success in life, relationships, and careers. I have a very accepting and process-oriented approach that is not intimidating or judgmental. My calm, empathic and intuitive nature allows others to feel comfortable and safe to explore what they need to free themselves to experience more happiness and compassion for themselves and others.
I enjoy working with a variety of individuals from many different ages, backgrounds, and orientations. I provide unconditional positive regard and understand that every person is unique in their way and requires an individualized approach that fits and works for them as they navigate their way through life.
